Time of your life

I do these tutorials for fun and not
for any profit. I use them also as a learning tool to
help others learn the fun and art of paint shop pro.
All things I use are collected, the only thing I claim
Is the tag I make with these as my work.

Supplies

Tube of choice or ones I used
here
Font of choice
Filters unlimited
HERE

Open new image 600 x 400

1. Open tube of choice and
pick 2 colors you wish to use for your
tag. Light for foreground and dark for background.

2. Flood fill new image with color of choice.

3. Selection tool draw a square out
250 x 250
You can use your ruler or just
watch the bottom of the psp screen.

4. Add a new raster layer and flood fill with another color
of choice from your tube.
Deselect.

5. Move the square to the center for now. Select, modify
expand by 1 selections, and go to select, selections border

6. Layer new raster layer and flood fill with gold,
or one of choice.
Deselect.

7. Select the inside of the frame
Layer new raster layer effects 3 D cutout


8. Add a new raster layer and repeat cut out
except change the V and H to -1


9. This is what you should have now, I rename my layers
as I go to keep me straight.
Deselect and close off the bottom 2 layers, then
merge all visible. Make sure you are on one of the
layers that you don't have closed before you merge.
Keep selected.

10. Layer new raster layer, call it tube, find the
tube you want to use and copy and paste into
your selection.
Deselect.

11. Add a drop shadow



12. Activate your dark layer with in the frame and give it
some kind of effect.
I used filters unlimited special effects aged film.
If your happy with the way everything looks so far merge
visible layers, you should of still had the bottom one closed off.

13. Open the bottom layer now and activate it.
Now effects and I used

14. Then effects and texture effects mosaic antique effects.


15. Selection tool and draw a line down one side of your tag


16. Layer new raster layer and flood fill with the gold or color of choice.
Deselect

17. Repeat this but this time don't make it as wide.
Add a new raster layer and flood fill this one.
Deselect.


18. Place them how you want them, then close off all layers except for the 2 lines.

and merge these together.

19. Effects 3 D inner bevel



20. Add the same drop shadow as you did earlier, but change the
blur amount to how you like it........I used 2

21. Duplicate this layer and then image rotate 90 degrees.
Make sure that you don't have all layers checked.

22. Get your

and pull out this one tell it touches the other side of your tag.
Arrange these lines like you want them.

23. I used a couple of brushes to make some accents and added
brush butterflies, and words to my tags.
Its all up to you what you would like to add.

24. Once your done adding what you wish, then
merge all layers.

25. Crop tool and get rid of what you don't want around your edges



I saved enough room to add a name down the side or anything else I wanted to.

26. Add a 1 pixel white border or one of your choice.

27. Add a 3 pixel border light color, or what ever you want to use.

28. Add a 10 pixel border and select it and filters unlimited special effects 1
aged film.......effects blinds, then repeat same bevel as we used earlier.
Deselect.

29. Add a 2 pixel border select and flood fill with the gold pattern.
Deselect

30. Add a 1 pixel border color of your choice.

Wow now we are done.
Add your watermark and anything else and save your work of art.

Frame 3

This tutorial was inspired by me, I was making a tag
for my daughter, she loves bull dogs.

Supplies

Filters Unlimited
HERE
Graphic plus HERE
Eye candy Impact HERE
PSP your choice did this in 9

Open graphic of choice
Duplicate it and close the original.

Remember to save often in case your psp closes.

1. Image add border 3 pixel color that isn't in your graphic.

2. Select and flood fill with gold bead, or one of choice.
Adjust sharpen, selection invert.

3. Add cut out using these settings.

4. then repeat but change the V and H to -4
Then selection and none.

5. Add another 3 pixel border using a color from your graphic.

6. Add another 3 pixel border using a different color and select
and flood fill with the gold beads,
then adjust sharpen, and deselect.

7. Add a 20 pixel border, and select. Then I used
eye candy 5 Impact brushed metal. With these settings.
There is a lot of different options.
just play around until you get what you like
depending on your graphic of choice.



8. Add another 3 pixel border and select, flood fill with the gold beads.
Adjust sharpen then deselect.

9. Add another 3 pixel border using the same color you did earlier.

10. repeat step 8.

11. Add a 30 pixel border and select.........Graphic plus
quick tile 2 with default settings.

12. Keep selected and filters unlimited with button frame glass 1
change the top setting only
to 20 apply, deselect.

13. Repeat step 8 and 9.........now your done.

14 Add your water make and any thing else you wish to your finished tag.

Frame Tutorial

Supplies
HERE
Filter factory F HERE
Filters Unlimited HERE
Penta filter HERE
Graphic plus HERE

Open graphic of choice
Duplicate it and close the original.

This is the one I'm using for this tutorial.
Don't know who it is by.
NOTE
Before you start edit and copy, will use in a few.

resize to your liking.
Adjust brightness and contract



1. Add a 3 pixel border a color that isn't in your graphic.
Click on it with magic wand. Flood fill with gold bead pattern.
Or one of choice.

2. Adjust sharpen, invert
Effects cutout.



repeat but this time change V and H to -3
Selection and none.

3. Add a border of 2 pixel of a dark color from your graphic.

4. Add another 3 pixel border and select and flood with the bead pattern.
Sharpen, and deselect.

5. Add border 15 color not important.
Select, then graphic plus
Quick tile 2 with default settings.

6. With it still selected, the filters unlimited
Buttons and Frame.....Glass glass frame 1
Change just the top number to 20
If happy with it then deselect.

7. Add another 3 pixel border, of any color other then what
you have in your graphic.....select flood fill with the gold bead pattern.

8. Adjust sharpen, and deselect.

9. Add another 2 pixel border of the dark color you have used in the other one.

10. Add 3 pixel border and select, and flood fill with gold beads.

11.Adjust sharpen and deselect

12. Add border 20 pixel and select...copy and paste your graphic into

13. selection, image mirror,
effects Penta dots and cross use default settings.

14. Keep selected, go to effects filter factory F morie blocks
Use default setting, or play around its all up to you.

15. With it still selected, the filters unlimited
Buttons and Frame.....Glass glass frame 1
and change the top setting to 20.
Then deselect.

16. Add 3 pixel border and flood fill with the gold beads
adjust sharpen
Deselect

17. Add 2 pixel border of dark color you used earlier.

18. Add 3 pixel border and flood fill with the gold beads
adjust sharpen.
Deselect.

19. Add 25 pixel border with the dark color and select.

20. Effects graphic plus cross shadow, I used default settings.

21. Then filters unlimited button frame, glass 1
I went down to 20 on the top slider.
Deselect

22. Add 3 pixel border, and flood fill with the gold beads
Adjust sharpen and deselect.

23. Now you can add corner accents or what ever you wish its,
all up to you.

24. When finished merge all layers and resize to your liking.
Add your watermark and you done and ready to
share your work of art.

Scribble Scope

This I did just messing around and thought how fun.
Hope you enjoy this fun a crazy tutorial.

Supplies needed.
Tube of choice
Filters Unlimited plug in
HERE

Open a new image 600 X 500

1. Find a tube you want to use and pick
a color for the background
and another for the foreground

Get your



2. Now draw lines any way you want. With one color.



3. Add a new raster layer.

4. Now toggle your colors and do it again

5. With your oil brush tool.


click on that little arrow you see there and they will reverse.


You can add a new color if you wish, just each time be

sure and add a new raster layer.

Be careful not to get to close to the edge.
This is what I have now.


6. Merge your layers now.

7. I added a texture to this mess.
I used filters unlimited hemp paper 1

8. I re sized mine down to 80 percent before this next step.

9. Filters unlimited and Kaleidoscope,
just click on the randomize until you set some thing
you like........this is what I have now.....cool huh.




If your happy with what you have, you can now add a bevel

Or eye candy glass effect to it. That is all up to you.

I then took and click on the center there and expanded it 5 added a
new layer, then flood filled with one of my colors, then gave it
the same glass effect, then moved that layer down.

This is what I have now.......



10. Merge all layers, then add a drop shadow.




11. Add a new raster layer and flood fill with color of choice.
Layers arrange and send to bottom.

12. Add a texture of choice, I used the paper effect once again.

13. Then crop around your background to get rid of the extra
you don't want
there showing. Leave room for your tube.



14. Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.



15. Add your drop shadow to the tube.
If your happy with it then merge all layers.

16. Add a 2 pixel border, what ever color you wish.

17. Add a 5 pixel border with your background color.

18. Add a 1 pixel border of your first color.

19. Magic wand and select the 5 pixel border and give
it a bevel of some kind.
I used the filters unlimited glass frame 1

20. Add a bottom border now, with these settings.


21. Click on the inside of this border and add the same bevel
effect you added to the 5 pixel border.
I did it twice and changed my settings on the second one.




This is what I have now.

You can add your water mark, and anything else you wish to the tag.

You can now add your water mark.
And your ready to save and share your work of art.

When done save your work of art and have the fun
of sharing.
